I’ve never planned a wedding before and I don’t know where to start, what do I do?
Rest assured that we are experts in this field and will be assisting you in every step of the way to keep the process simple and stress free. An event planner will be assigned especially for you and will be available to provide you with all the support you need and work with you to ensure your event is as stress-free as possible.
Can you help me find a venue?
If you are still exploring venues, then Laguna can assist you in finding that perfect venue based on your requirements. We offer a range of different styles such as exclusive hotels, traditional stately homes, beautiful marquee locations, sporting stadiums and historical palaces.
What UK regions do you serve?
We are able to provide our catering services throughout the United Kingdom but also specialise in catering abroad with events previously catered for in Morocco, Portugal, Athens and France
Can you help me arrange other services such as theming and entertainment etc?
With our professional event management service allow us to make dreams of your ideal wedding a
reality. We are able to organise on your behalf a wide range of services that may be required and few other finishing touches to make that event extra special.
Are there any hidden / extra costs? E.g. Service charge, corkage charges, VAT etc
We will be giving you a full breakdown of what is included in your package before you confirm the booking. However, extra charges may only occur if your requirements change later on.
Do you do food tasting sessions before the booking?
Yes we do food tasting sessions at our restaurant where we can personalise the menus as per your preferences
How can we choose the menu?
We have included a wide range of dishes in the menu section for you to peruse. Having extensive experience we are able to work alongside you to create a bespoke menu for you taking into consideration flavours, tastes and textures that suit you and your guests. However if there is something you fancy and it is not there, please do not hesitate to ask
Can you accommodate guests with special dietary restrictions and allergies?
Our culinary team will be happy to accommodate any special requirements but do let us know your specific requirements as well as the number of guests with those requirements and we will have something made especially for them.
What foodservice styles can you provide?
The starters can be served to the tables or be rotated around by our staff as canapes. For the Main Course you have the options of going for a sit down silver service table meal, a lavish buffet service or a rotating turntable service with a range of designs available
Is there a chance of your food running short?
The chance of that happening is very rare and would only happen if your number of guests increase by a large amount at the function. We normally do prepare for a 15% or so extra food for each function as a contingency.
Can you provide all the drinks for the function?
We are able to provide an unlimited soft drinks or unlimited soft drinks with alcohol package for you. You may even provide your own alcohol and if so then we are happy to provide a list of guide amounts to be purchased
Is it cheaper for us to provide the drinks and how much would I need to buy?
It can work out cheaper to purchase the drinks yourself, but then you would have to go through the hassle of actually purchasing the drinks, loading them into your car and then delivering them to the venue as well. If you prefer to purchase and provide the beverages yourself, then we will assist you in ensuring you purchase the right quantity and selection of drinks for your function.
Can you provide the crockery, cutlery, glassware, linen and waiting staff etc?
Yes, we can provide all the crockery, cutlery, glassware and table linen as part of your package with us as well as the staffing
When will the final menu and final number of guests have to be confirmed?
The final menu and final guest numbers would be required a minimum of 20 days before the event.
What if more / less than confirmed guests arrive at the function?
We would require a minimum guarantee of numbers confirmed and that would be the number of people that you would have to pay for. This is because the food, service and staff would all have been arranged based on that minimum number. However, if the number of people increases then you would be charged accordingly.
What will the service staff dress code be?
Our waiting staff will be dress in an all black uniform with branded apron, however if you do have any particular dress code requirements, then we will be happy to try and accommodate that for you.

We would be happy to provide you with references of our previous clients and would be proud to let you know of some of the personalities that have visited our events
Have you previously catered at my prospective wedding venue?
We would have catered previously at most venues, but even if it is a new venue then it is not a problem at all as the logistics are similar. We would conduct a site visit before the function takes place so as to familiarise ourselves with the new venue.
Do you hold the necessary insurances and food hygiene certificates?
We hold full insurance certificates and all our staff has done full courses in Food Safety & Hygiene and so are very familiar with the regulations. Our kitchen and hygiene standards have been approved by Diversey, Common Sense Compliance and the local environmental agency. Our food is made in our Central Catering Unit where strict quality control procedures and compliance with all the relevant Food Safety and hygiene legislations and regulations take place.
